James was born in China so Asian cuisine and cooking is in his blood. He loves working with food and always dreamed of being a chef. In many ways James followed in the footsteps of his family as they spent more than two decades running their own restaurant and growing amazing produce on their farm.His family moved to Australia when he was 5, and he completed his training and early career in Sydney. James soon felt the pull to move somewhere with a little less hustle and bustle, so he and his partner Phoebe packed up and made their way to Noosa.
James is a wonderful member of the Embassy XO team and is looking forward to introducing some new dishes and flavours to the menu. He loves getting out and about on his days off, discovering different parts of the Sunshine Coast, and also meeting many of the local producers in the region.
